April 20th, 2012
In late 2011 Juris Publishing, one of the largest legal publishers in the nation, published Advising Minnesota Corporations and Other Business Organizations, 2nd Ed. Richard Saliterman and Roger Magnuson, Head of National Strategic Litigation for Dorsey & Whitney, are the main authors of the 109 chapter comprehensive business law treatise. Brett Larson, of the firm, was a contributing author and also served as Production Editor. The three volume treatise is the main practice treatise used by lawyers, judges and academicians. The treatise provides general and very specific legal analysis of a wide range of matters, reflecting the broad range of practice areas covered by Saliterman & Siefferman attorneys including business and estate planning, employment law, immigration, banking, and real estate law.
We wrote the book on business and corporate law, literally. Richard Saliterman's publication, Advising Minnesota Corporations and Other Business Organizations [four volumes, hardbound] is the principal Minnesota business law practice treatise used by lawyers, judges, and academicians to understand all areas of the law affecting Minnesota businesses and employees.
In print for over fifteen years, this authoritative multi-volume set has become an established reference across the state. Due to its wide acceptance and authority many prominent Minnesota attorneys have contributed to the authoring of an expanded second edition (2011), including co-author Roger J. Magnusson – Senior Partner Dorsey & Whitney LLP, with contributions from Brett Larson and other members of our firm. The second edition includes forewords from the deans of the University of Minnesota Law School, William Mitchell College of Law and Hamline University School of Law, as well as contributions from Peter Withoff – Senior Tax Partner at Faegre and Benson LLP.
