In late 2011 Juris Publishing, one of the largest legal publishers in the nation, published Advising Minnesota Corporations and Other Business Organizations, 2nd Ed. Richard Saliterman and Roger Magnuson, Head of National Strategic Litigation for Dorsey & Whitney, are the main authors of the 109 chapter comprehensive business law treatise. Brett Larson, of the firm, was a contributing author and also served as Production Editor. The three volume treatise is the main practice treatise used by lawyers, judges and academicians. The treatise provides general and very specific legal analysis of a wide range of matters, reflecting the broad range of practice areas covered by Saliterman & Siefferman attorneys including business and estate planning, employment law, immigration, banking, and real estate law.
Immigration law is very broad and complex area, affecting both individuals and businesses. Our immigration attorneys have far-reaching experience and are comfortable in advocating before the various offices of the Department of Homeland Security as well as in the Immigration Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals and Administrative Appeals Unit, and in Federal District and Appellate Courts.
Our experience in business consultation and representation uniquely positions us to provide businesses a "big picture" approach to securing the ability of employees to travel to and from and work in the United States.
Specifically, we provide the following assistance:
We approach each individual's case uniquely, taking into account all of the circumstances that will affect the decision-making process.
We assist individuals in the following specific ways:
An increasingly important aspect of immigration law involves the U.S. Government's increased efforts at immigration enforcement, resulting in increased detention and litigation in the immigration courts and federal courts, often in connection with criminal charges and convictions. Our immigration litigation attorneys in Minnesota fearlessly challenge government actions in the federal courts. Because of our firm's concurrent experience in immigration and criminal law, we provide advice and representation in criminal matters that will help avoid ultimate deportation.
